17 DAY DIET
I just ordered my book! It should be here in a couple weeks I cant wait to start this thing!!!!!!
The 17-Day Diet plan consists of four 17-day cycles. For each cycle, dieters will need to vary carbs, proteins, fruits, and other kinds of foods; the premise is that these variations will stimulate their metabolism, thus promoting weight loss.
Dr. Moreno shared that the concept behind the 17-day cycle is anchored upon the idea that this span of time is right before the time when one’s body will recognize a certain eating pattern as a habit, which is the trigger that slows down metabolism. Aside from the change in food intake, dieters also need to walk for 17 minutes a day.
Wilcox shared that following the diet wasn’t all that difficult, but like all other weight loss plans, it does have its rules. These rules include using spices, using fruit instead of sugar, and substituting mustard for mayonnaise. Certain types of carbs, as well as fruit, is not allowed after 2 pm.
